The lightest thing you'll put on your feet today. NUWA's open-lattice slipper weighs about 90 grams — printed in one continuous piece, with nothing glued, stitched, or layered on top. It's the shoe you reach for the moment the day downshifts.
Why you'll live in them
- ~90 g each — lighter than your phone. You stop noticing they're on.
- Breathes through itself — the open lattice is the ventilation. No liner, no sock required, no hot foot.
- One continuous print — no glue to let go, no stitching to split, no insole to peel up after a few months.
- Rinse and go — spill coffee on them? Run them under the tap with a little soap and they're clean.
- Vegan — a single dual-component flexible photopolymer, all the way through.
How they feel
Soft give underfoot with a quiet spring back — the lattice flexes where your foot moves and stays supportive where it lands. Cool in summer, because air moves straight through the structure. Not a thick, sink-in foam feel; a light, responsive one. Most people wear them barefoot.
Wear them for
Post-workout. Post-shower. Kitchen-to-couch. The home office. The balcony. The airport security tray. Dry decks and patios.
Not for
Running, hiking, wet or oily floors, or anything that asks for grip and impact protection. This is a recovery and around-home slipper, not an athletic shoe.
The lattice, explained
Each slipper is printed from a single digital file at 80-micron resolution — fine enough to flex with your foot, open enough to move air passively. The structure runs denser where you need support and more open where you need give and airflow. Because it's one piece, there are no seams or bonded layers to fail: the whole shoe is the cushioning, the upper, and the sole at once.

Common questions
Are they actually comfortable? Yes. The give comes from the lattice geometry, not a foam layer, so they stay comfortable without packing down flat over time.
Can I wear them outside? On dry decks, patios, and short walks, yes. They're not built for wet ground or long-distance walking.
How do I clean them? Soap, water, air dry. No special care.
Will they stretch out? The photopolymer holds its shape — it flexes under load and returns, rather than permanently stretching the way knit does.
